Job summary

Capital One in New York, NY is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer 4 to advance Intelligent Foundations and Experiences. You will design and deploy scalable ML models, feed robust data pipelines, and work with Product and Data Science teams to solve business problems.

Role requires 4+ years in ML with PyTorch/TensorFlow, strong Python/Java/Golang/C++ skills, and experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of Python/Java/Golang/C++ programming experience.
• 4+ years in ML with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries.
• 4+ years operating large-scale distributed systems (Spark, Ray).
• 2+ years deploying ML solutions in production on cloud with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components with Product and Data Science teams.
• Inform ML infrastructure decisions including data, features, training, and validation.
• Write, test code, and automate deployment and monitoring of models.
• Collaborate in an Agile cross-functional team for big data/ML apps.
• Retrain, monitor, and maintain models in production; build data pipelines.
