Uber Freight is seeking a Senior Engineer to advance machine learning solutions for its marketplace and operations. You will design and deploy production ML models at scale, optimize logistics networks, and explore GenAI integrations to unlock new efficiencies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate complex ML concepts for leadership, and drive end-to-end model lifecycle from research to monitoring, delivering robust, scalable systems for our growing freight platform.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 5+ years of Software Engineering or ML Engineering experience.
• Experience in one or more programming languages including Python, Go or Java
• Proven experience with designing and implementing machine learning models in production environments with large data sets
• Experience in communicating algorithm choices, ML system design & concepts to leadership, technical peers & industry experts
• Strong adherence to metrics driven development, with a disciplined and analytical approach to product development

Responsabilidades

• Drive development of high-impact ML solutions for Uber Freight’s marketplace and operations.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of predictive models—from identifying opportunities to production monitoring at scale.
• Guide GenAI integration where it drives business value and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
