Job summary

Karsun Solutions is actively seeking a Senior ML Engineer to support modernization of digital services for Veterans, focusing on enterprise ML models, data governance, and secure pipelines. You will integrate models with Salesforce/MuleSoft, Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics, Pega, Box, and Appian, ensuring HIPAA/PHI protections.

This contingent role prefers candidates local to the DMV area and onsite two days per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience; 10 years can substitute for degree.
Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining ML models in production.
Ability to obtain/maintain VA Public Trust background.
Available on contract award and willing to sign commitment letter.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable ML models and pipelines for enterprise objectives.
Apply ML frameworks and lifecycle management to improve predictive capability and analytics.
Lead model integration with enterprise platforms via APIs and reusable components.
Lead model performance monitoring, drift detection, retraining, and validation.
Protect PII/PHI in training data and outputs under HIPAA and VA privacy requirements.
Educate stakeholders and provide technical guidance to ensure on-schedule delivery.
