Job summary

Torc Robotics is seeking a senior localization ML engineer to advance ego-motion estimation, sensor fusion, and robust pose tracking for autonomous trucks. You will develop production-ready ML models, implement scalable training, and improve state estimation with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have extensive robotics experience, strong PyTorch skills, and a solid foundation in 3D geometry and software engineering.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS, EE, robotics with 6+ years experience or higher degree per requirements.
• Experience with AV or robotics localization systems.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and ML tooling.
• Strong software engineering in Python and C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production ML models for ego-motion and localization.
• Develop scalable training workflows with PyTorch and large datasets.
• Design state estimation and sensor fusion algorithms.
• Analyze large vehicle datasets to characterize performance.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver autonomous driving capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership through reviews and mentoring.
