Job summary

A7 is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own ML systems end-to-end for robotics, from data pipelines to real-time on-device inference. You will lead model development, evaluation, and deployment with an eye toward production quality.

You will also own synthetic data strategy, sim-to-real domain adaptation, and ML infra, shaping the roadmap with the founders and building the first dedicated ML capability for the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying ML and shipping models to production.
• Hands-on with DETR/Deformable DETR or DINO-based detection.
• Experience with synthetic data, sim-to-real, and domain adaptation.
• Edge deployment expertise on Jetson/Orin and latency optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own the full ML lifecycle from data to deployment to monitoring.
• Develop data pipelines, train models, evaluate and deploy at scale.
• Define the ML roadmap and set priorities with founders.
• Build ML infra for experiment tracking and versioning.
• Work as the lone ML engineer with strong ownership and async communication.
• Align on-edge and cloud deployment strategies and performance.
