Algorized is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance edge-AI models for wireless people sensing in robots. You will own end-to-end ML development, work across data science, signal processing, and product teams, and shape the company’s technical direction.

Qualifications

• PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Wireless Communication, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on ML or data-science experience in real-world apps.
• Proven expertise in data science and ML with sensor or time-series data.
• Strong signal-processing knowledge and practical experience (spectral analysis, filtering, estimation, tracking, sensor fusion).
• Strong ML fundamentals: model development, evaluation, optimization, generalization.
• Excellent Python skills and experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy.
• Ability to own open-ended technical problems and move from exploration to validated solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional work.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and improve ML models and algorithms for wireless people sensing using radar and other signals.
• Develop foundational models supporting multiple people-sensing tasks and sensor configurations.
• Create signal-processing and DL methods turning wireless data into robust outputs.
• Design architectures and learning approaches capturing spatial-temporal patterns in sensor data.
• Plan experiments, define evaluation methods, and analyze model behavior and generalization.
• Evaluate advances in time-series and representation learning to improve robustness across environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers and MLOps on infrastructure development.
• Mentor junior teammates and help guide data-science practices and direction.
