Job summary

Roblox is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the Economy ML team in San Mateo, CA. You will build models powering ranking, pricing, and personalization across Marketplace, Payments, and Developer Monetization.

You will design end-to-end ML solutions, experiment rigorously, and scale models for real-world impact on user experience, creator earnings, and platform growth. Collaboration with Product, Backend, and Data Science is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience building recommendation, search, or ranking systems for a high-scale product.
• Experience with pricing or content understanding is a plus.
• Strong coding skills in Python and PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate modern retrieval, ranking, and generative recommendation models.
• Make models efficient to train and serve at scale with budget considerations.
• Own end-to-end ML solutions from data exploration to production deployment.
• Design experiments and tie results to core metrics like engagement and earnings.
• Mentor engineers and align roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
