Morgan Stanley seeks a senior ML developer and DevOps/ML Ops engineer in New York. You will collaborate with ML researchers and clients to productionize ML projects, retrofit client systems, and maintain robust production pipelines.

The role requires deep Python/Java/C++ expertise, Linux proficiency, and experience with containers and cloud tools. You’ll contribute to cross-team ML initiatives and scalable models within a compliant, secure environment.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of related technology experience.
• Strong background in Python and Java/C/C++.
• Debugging, profiling, and performance engineering.
• Familiarity with trading systems.
• Understanding of core infrastructure and automation.
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration.
• Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, Terraform).
• Understanding data tiers and ETL pipelines.
• Linux system-level experience.
• Self-starter who can take an idea from research to execution.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas with documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Work with ML researchers to develop, productionize, and deploy ML-based projects for clients.
• Dig into client systems to retrofit with the team’s solutions.
• Maintain and support production systems.
• Onboard and develop systems to manage ML models with a focus on ML Ops.
• Compile and repackage libraries used by researchers.
• Identify and bring platform solutions into the Firm while adhering to security policies.
• Stay current with ML tools, libraries, and techniques across OSS and vendors.
• Build and maintain tooling to promote ML development within the Firm.
• Create and maintain code samples to bootstrap ML practitioners.
