Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, Texas seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join Corporate Sector Technology. You will be a core technical contributor shaping scalable, secure, trusted technology products while driving ML model life cycles from development to deployment.

You will design, build, and maintain platform components, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and work with AWS services to support training and serving workloads. Strong server-side, microservices, and SDLC/MLOps expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with evaluation of outputs for correctness and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
• Server-side development experience including Web Services, XML, SOAP, REST, JMS.
• Experience building high-volume, low-latency transactional systems.
• Experience with microservices using Spring Boot and related tech.
• Experience with a broad set of AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda).
• Proficiency in SQL, indexing, joins, and JDBC; strong problem-solving skills.
• Agile development experience with SCRUM or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform components that support ML model lifecycle end-to-end.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, speed, and security.
• Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS to support training and serving workloads.
• Automate model deployment, testing, and release processes within SDLC/MLOps.
• Monitor platform health and model serving infrastructure; address performance issues.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
