Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior ML Engineer for Biologics Discovery Data Science. You will enable AI/ML solutions to move reliably from development into production, owning deployment, lifecycle management, access, monitoring, and governance of ML, generative AI, and agentic solutions for discovery workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience operationalizing and scaling AI/ML solutions in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and building AI/ML workflows.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern data platforms for AI/ML.
• Experience with model registries, experiment tracking, and ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases).
• Experience implementing production AI/ML practices, including CI/CD, deployment automation, observability.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable pipelines delivering model-ready data to ML/AI workflows.
• Ensure data generated is captured, governed, and available to downstream modeling and agentic workflows.
• Establish reliable deployment, serving, access management, and lifecycle across environments.
• Implement versioning, reproducible releases, and traceability across AI/ML lifecycle.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance management for ML workflows and deployed models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and partners to enable reproducible training and deployment.
