Job summary

Striveworks is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Agentic Systems, to build production-grade AI solutions and agentic workflows. You will work with customers, data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps to deliver reliable AI systems using Chariot, our AI operations platform.

You will design, evaluate, and optimize LLM-powered agents, integrate AI with external tools, and advance data-centric architectures while aligning with security and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• A BS degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related discipline and 6+ years relevant experience.
• Experience delivering data-centric systems (data engineering, ETL, analytics) in production.
• Experience designing, building, evaluating, and optimizing LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience integrating AI systems with external tools, APIs, MCP servers, and enterprise data sources.
• Experience developing evaluation approaches to measure agent performance, reliability, and safety.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool use, planning, and multi-agent architectures.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or scikit-learn.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals; at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++, Java, Scala).
• Experience with Agile, version control, CI/CD, debugging, etc.
• Active Secret US security clearance and US citizenship.

• Build reliable and effective AI systems and improve performance and usability of the platform.
• Contribute to platform improvements and mission-critical deployments in the field.
