Job summary

Striveworks is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Agentic Systems, to develop trusted AI systems across models, agents, and workflows. You will work with customers, data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps to build and deploy complex ML solutions on the Chariot platform.

You will analyze performance, improve usability, and help shape capabilities for mission-critical deployments with a customer-first mindset and a focus on security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering data-centric systems (data engineering, ETL, ML, production analytics).
• Designing, building, evaluating, and optimizing LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows.
• Integrating AI systems with external tools, APIs, MCP servers, and enterprise data sources.
• Developing evaluation approaches and frameworks to measure agent performance, reliability, and safety.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tools, planning, and multi-agent architectures.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or scikit-learn.
• Strong CS fundamentals and experience with at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++, Java, Scala).
• Experience with Agile, version control, CI/CD, debugging; active Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning solutions and agentic workflows across models and tools.
• Collaborate with customers, data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps.
• Shape capabilities of Chariot, our AI operations platform, and improve performance.
• Analyze performance and usability; inform platform improvements and field deployments.
• Engage directly with customers to ensure reliable, trusted AI systems.
