You will connect signals across inventory, demand, and response to estimate campaign performance and guide investment decisions. The role emphasizes building robust, generalizable models, evaluating forecast accuracy, and delivering scalable pipelines with engineers and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, shipping, and improving predictive ML systems in advertising, marketplaces, forecasting, or similar domains.
• Strong foundations in statistical learning, probability, and optimization with large-scale data.
• Practical experience in forecasting, response prediction, probabilistic modeling, multitask learning, or transfer learning.
• Sound evaluation judgment including temporal validation and uncertainty assessment.
• Experience diagnosing modeling challenges like sparse observations, cold start, seasonality, or distribution shift.
• Strong programming and software engineering skills including production ML pipelines.
• Ability to turn ambiguous product questions into concrete technical plans and lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Own forecasting and scenario modeling projects from problem formulation to deployment.
• Connect inventory, demand, and response signals to improve estimates of campaign outcomes.
• Model outcomes under changes in budget, bid, audience, or objectives while considering auction dynamics.
• Collaborate with partner teams to incorporate creative-performance estimates for better delivery and efficiency.
• Develop methods for generalization in sparse or changing marketplace conditions.
• Build and maintain trustworthy evaluations and production ML pipelines.
• Deliver training, inference, monitoring, and iteration for production models with cross-functional teams.
