Job summary

Google’s software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that expand how billions connect and interact with information. You will lead a team at the intersection of Hardware, Software and AI, driving sensor data driven features with power-aware algorithms.

You will design, implement and test multiple features with minimal direction, collaborating with stakeholders to shape future directions while contributing to real-time embedded software and ML innovations across Pixel experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with Computer Vision, video generation, or signal processing and related algorithms.
• 5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in people management or team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Apply extensive experience in hardware, AI, and software for mobile form factors.
• Diagnose and debug hardware/software issues to ensure system stability.
• Architect and build sensor fusion algorithms for optical and motion technologies.
• Develop testing and verification methods to ensure efficient development rhythm.
• Lead a specialized team at the intersection of Hardware, Software, and AI.
