Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience in multiple languages.
• 5 years in ML areas such as speech/audio, RL, ML infrastructure, or related fields.
• 5 years leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years in people management or team leadership.
• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, CS, or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization with cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate team priorities aligning with broader organization's goals.
• Set expectations with individuals based on level and role, and provide feedback and coaching.
• Develop mid-term technical vision and roadmap across one or more teams.
• Design and vet systems, and write code to solve complex problems.
• Lead ML solutions, optimize infrastructure, and guide data processing strategies.
