Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is hiring a data engineer for the Axion Data team to optimize data pipelines and run ML models on edge and cloud platforms.

You will build and scale the data engine, integrate foundation models for labeling and QA, and develop MLOps tooling to enable stakeholders to gain insight into the pipeline. The role emphasizes experience with ML infrastructure, microservices, and working with large-scale GPU-based workloads, with DoD customer interaction and security-clearance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure and GPUs.
• Created or worked on microservices or databases for data-oriented software.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Construct optimized data pipelines to run ML models.
• Scale data engine architecture to support high-fidelity labels and faster iterations.
• Integrate foundation models (LLMs, VLMs) to automate labeling and QA.
• Use software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Collaborate with DoD customers to understand use cases and deliver value.
