Job summary

Applied Intuition's Axion Data team builds the data engine to train perception models, facilitating edge and cloud runs and rapid model iteration. The engineer will optimize pipelines, scale data labels, and implement MLOps tooling to provide visibility to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes working on edge-perception stacks, cloud ingestion, and ownership of ML data workflows, with ongoing learning and product impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with modern ML infrastructure and running large-scale jobs on GPUs.
• Created or worked on microservices and/or databases for data-oriented software.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Construct optimized data pipelines to run ML models.
• Evolve data engine architecture to scale labels and accelerate ML iterations.
• Integrate foundation models to automate labeling and data discovery.
• Leverage ML testing methodologies (software/hardware-in-the-loop).
• Engage with DoD customers to understand use cases and deliver a superior experience.
