Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an experienced Mixed-Signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer to join the hardware engineering team in Beaverton, OR.

You will craft state-of-the-art functional models for custom mixed-signal circuits using SystemVerilog and integrate them into verification flows to validate system-level performance. You will collaborate with circuit design and DV teams, analyze data with Python and MATLAB, and run simulations and co-simulations to ensure model accuracy.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience writing functional models of custom mixed-signal circuits in SystemVerilog.
• Ability to analyze data and verify model performance with Python/MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Write functional models of mixed-signal circuits in SystemVerilog with appropriate detail and non-idealities.
• Collaborate with circuit design and DV teams to ensure model accuracy and test coverage.
• Analyze circuit data to fit models and optimize modeling flows for verification.
• Run simulations and formal equivalence checks to validate models against real circuits.
• Improve modeling methodologies and enable new tooling for issue identification.
