Job summary

Boeing in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Mission Systems Software Chief Architect to lead software process and tooling in support of product architecture and execution flows. You will translate system requirements into software requirements and models that meet customer, operational and performance requirements with clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts.

The role requires active U.S. security clearance, 5+ years in full software lifecycle development, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, SAP access ability.
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years full life-cycle software development.
Experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Ada, Linux.
Experience developing/maintaining software architectures and requirements.
Experience with Software Development Processes.

Responsibilities

Leads the Mission Systems software office focusing on software process and tooling.
Translates system requirements into software requirements and models with traceability.
Oversees integration, testing, risk reviews and mitigation actions.
Leads code reviews and monitors test completion and issue resolution.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure alignment with project plans and standards.
