Job summary

The Boeing Company in Missouri is seeking a Mission Systems Lead Software Architect to define and own the software architecture for the Mission Systems solution, guiding design decisions and coordinating with Platform Software Architects, System Engineers and program leadership in Berkeley, MO.

You will lead software teams, ensure delivery milestones, drive containerized architectures, and coordinate across suppliers while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7+ years programming in C, C++ or C#.
• 5+ years with software development, systems engineering or integrations for mission systems.
• 5+ years in software architecture and embedded software design.
• 3+ years leading software projects or technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Mission Systems software architecture roadmap and vision.
• Lead and approve the software development plan with milestones.
• Ensure architecture, requirements, interfaces and designs are documented and compliant.
• Design and support containerized software architecture.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure integration and acceptance criteria are met.
• Mentor and train team members.
