Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to establish, configure, and maintain MS software development environments across security levels. You will coordinate with the Digital Engineering Environment team and serve as the primary DevSecOps contact.

Responsibilities include leading CI/CD pipelines, IaC, cloud and on‑prem infrastructures, tool administration (Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, SonarQube) and mentoring junior engineers to foster knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6+ years’ experience with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and/or DevOps teams.
• 5+ years’ experience in automated provisioning and configuring software-defined infrastructure and designing for CD/CI.
• 3+ years’ experience with automation/CI/CD techniques and design patterns.
• 3+ years’ experience with IaC and CI/CD environments.
• 3+ years’ experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Leads software development environment roadmap and vision.
• Leads deployment and configuration of build servers, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Manages MS software development environments across multiple networks and tools.
• Maintains cloud-based and on-prem infrastructures.
• Creates and maintains IaC and automation for deployment and administration.
• Ensures development and production environments are established and compliant with standards.
• Drives best practices for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Oversees software development tool administration, upgrades, patch management, and tool integration.
• Mentors junior teammates and development teams on DevSecOps practices.
• Coordinates across Mission Systems, Digital Engineering Environment, and Boeing Software Factory Enterprise teams.
