Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO seeks a Senior Mission Systems Core Processing Electrical Engineer to join a DoD proprietary program. You will help design, analyze, and integrate core processing hardware and software within a cross-functional team to deliver high-assurance mission systems.

You will work on architecture, timing protocols, encryption, and interfaces, lead technical efforts, perform trade studies, and help transfer concepts from research to production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Use CAMEO/MBSE to analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle
• Design and maintain hardware, software, and interface specifications
• Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
• Support project management activities by providing work statements, budget, schedule, and other required inputs, and by reporting project status
• Interface with multiple disciplines, internal and external customers, suppliers, and multiple levels within the organization
• Complete trade studies, modeling, simulation, and other forms of analysis to predict components, interconnects, and system performance, and to optimize design
• Research specific technology advances for potential application implementation
