Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Mission Software Engineer to own and drive critical areas of the EW software stack. You will architect scalable solutions and work across embedded, backend, and deployment domains, collaborating directly with customers and operators.

You should bring 7+ years of software experience, production Linux skills, and a track record of shipping complex software in fast-paced environments. A Top Secret SCI clearance and up to 30% travel are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least two of Haskell, Rust, C++, Go, TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in embedded systems, backend services, deployment systems, or systems integration.
• Production-level Linux experience.
• Track record of owning and shipping complex software in fast-moving environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with customers.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the technical direction for one or more critical areas of the EW software stack.
• Architect and implement production-ready, scalable solutions.
• Debug cross-system issues spanning embedded software, networking, and applications.
• Develop high-performance software across RF data, deployment automation, or operator tools.
• Drive engineering quality through reviews, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with customers to align priorities.
• Collaborate with embedded, DSP/RFML, and systems teams across projects.
• Support field deployments, integration events, and customer engagements.
• Help build the MSE team's culture, processes, and standards.
