Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Mission Engineering, Modeling & Simulation to support US Coast Guard initiatives in digital transformation and mission engineering. You will apply MBSE, SysML, and UAF/UAFML to develop digital mission architectures, build MTs/METs, and perform quantitative analyses of operational concepts.

Responsibilities include leading ME studies, producing architecture views, and delivering VV&A.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8–10 years of related experience, or 6–10 years with a Master’s degree.
Proven experience developing enterprise and mission architectures in UAF/UAFML with Cameo or CATIA Magic.
Experience conducting mission engineering studies, including metric definition and analysis of alternative architectures.
Familiarity with DoW MEG v2.0, DoWI 5000.88/97, and acquisition decisions.
Modeling and simulation experience using AFSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, or Ansys STK.

Responsibilities

Lead mission engineering studies following MEG v2.0 to define problem statements and scope analyses.
Develop and maintain digital mission architectures in UAF/UAFML with MTs and METs.
Produce DoDAF-conformant views and assess mission effectiveness across systems and domains.
Build and validate models in CATIA Magic/CAMEO and perform trade studies.
Present findings to governance boards and support program briefings.
