Job summary

Serco Inc. invites a seniorProgram Lead to direct Mission Engineering & Strategic Integration efforts supporting the Office of the Secretary of War at the Pentagon and nearby Alexandria, VA.

You will oversee multi‑year portfolios, lead cross‑functional teams, and deliver high‑level, defendable investment recommendations within the PPBE framework. The role requires TS clearance, US citizenship, and 20+ years in systems engineering/operational analysis, with experience in joint and service

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• 20+ years in Engineering with emphasis on Systems Engineering and Operational Analysis.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary analysis teams.
• Experience collaborating with Military Services and Combatant Commands.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern a portfolio of mission engineering tasks with design standards.
• Align engineering pipelines with National Defense/War Strategy and future concepts.
• Guide integration of adversary trajectories, intelligence products and threat forecasts into simulations.
• Direct cross-functional teams across Joint and Service components.
• Oversee creation of mission threads, joint kill webs and SoS architectures.
• Provide oversight of M&S suites (AFSIM/ITASE) for SoS evaluation.
• Synthesize simulation outputs with SME findings for strategic assessments.
• Liaise with OSW, Joint Staff, CCMDs and Service leadership for buy-in.
• Translate analyses into investment recommendations within PPBE.
• Author executive reports and briefings to FO/GO and SES.
