Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Senior Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support advanced ISR studies for government and commercial customers. You will model satellites, aircraft, sensor systems, mission scenarios, and concepts to evaluate performance and inform decisions.

You will lead complex modeling efforts, mentor analysts, and coordinate workstreams from need through defensible recommendations, leveraging cloud and HPC resources to ensure rigorous technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 8+ years of space systems modeling and simulation experience.
• Willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-fidelity modeling and simulation efforts for space, airborne, and ISR studies and analyses.
• Engage customers and program leadership to clarify mission needs and translate objectives into analysis plans.
• Define technical approaches, performance measures, and acceptance criteria for major workstreams.
• Maintain technical quality through rigorous review of models, inputs, and outputs.
• Standardize simulation workflows and advance reusable components and automation.
• Guide large simulation campaigns using cloud, HPC resources, and distributed computing.
• Lead technical reviews, mentor junior analysts, and promote engineering best practices.
• Identify opportunities for future investment in ModSim tools, data, and workforce capabilities.
