Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead complex missile subsystem programs from concept through integration. You will mentor junior engineers, drive technical excellence, and coordinate with high-level stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 12+ years of engineering experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role, and ability to work in a hybrid office setting in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 12+ years in engineering.
• Leadership and multi-disciplinary integration experience in missile or guided weapon systems.
• Hands-on subsystem integration with seeker, datalink, flight computer, or GNC.

Responsibilities

• Lead IPT planning and execution for complex missile subsystem development and integration.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering across seeker, datalink, flight computer, GNC, and HWIL teams.
• Review and validate subsystem artifacts including ICDs, performance models, and HWIL test plans.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving multi-disciplinary issues related to seeker performance, datalink, flight computing, GNC modeling, and embedded software.
