Job summary

KODA Technologies Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to support performance assessment activities for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs. Expect mission/system-level analyses, tool development in MATLAB and Python, and communication with government stakeholders.

100% on-site at Redstone Arsenal. Qualifications include 7+ years in defense analysis, MATLAB and Python proficiency, and active security clearances.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in defense performance analysis or mission analysis.
• Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.
• Proficient in MATLAB for model development, data analysis and visualization.
• Proficient in Python with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas and Matplotlib.
• Strong statistics, numerical methods, optimization, and simulation-based assessment.
• Able to translate analytical findings into actionable engineering recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance analyses of missile defense system capabilities using modeling and simulation tools.
• Develop methodologies to evaluate system effectiveness, interceptor performance, engagement outcomes, and mission success.
• Design, develop, and maintain analytical tools using MATLAB and Python.
• Conduct statistical analyses, sensitivity studies, Monte Carlo simulations, and trade-space assessments.
• Analyze large datasets from missile defense simulations to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop technical reports, presentations, and visualizations for leadership.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, M&S teams, software developers, and subject matter experts.
• Support design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and customer briefings.
• Maintain analytical documentation and ensure consistency of modeling assumptions.
