Job summary

Ignite is seeking a Senior Missile Defense System Architecture Analyst to join TEAMS Next MDS Engineering at Fort Belvoir, VA. Telework is allowed; on-site schedule and duty location to be confirmed.

The role leads or participates in analyzing future Missile Defense System architectures and developing modeling and simulation tools to support architecture assessment. Requirements include 12+ years with a master’s degree, or 20+ years with a bachelor’s degree in missile defense-related DoD

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years with a master’s degree, or 20 years with a bachelor’s degree, in missile defense-related or other complex DoD programs/projects.
• Experience modeling, assessing, and evaluating future missile defense architectures.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks by importance and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assess MDS capability gaps and develop architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance.
• Develop analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process results, and prepare briefs/reports.
• Support M&S efforts and tailor tools to specific analysis plans.
