Job summary

PeopleTec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Missile Defense Systems Analyst to support Fort Belvoir, VA, on-site only. The role focuses on architecture and assessment of next-generation missile defense systems using MATLAB, AFSIM, Benchmark, and related tools.

You will conduct architecture trade studies, evaluate system performance, and integrate modeling results from multiple environments to inform design decisions. A strong background in systems engineering and DoD clearances is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in systems/software engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures.
• Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads.
• Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools.
• Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.
