Job summary

MTSI is seeking a Senior Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to lead or contribute to analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures and to develop modeling and simulation tools to support architecture assessments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a STEM field with 7+ years of missile defense experience, active security clearances, and proficiency in MDS simulations. Excellent communication and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; 7+ years in missile defense or large DoD program
• Solid understanding of current MDS architecture and future concepts
• Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future architectures
• Strong ability to interpret results and present findings clearly

Responsibilities

• Assess capability gaps and develop architecture solutions to mitigate gaps and improve performance
• Develop analysis plans, run MDS simulations, post-process results, and prepare briefs
• Support modeling and simulation efforts to tailor tools to analysis plans
