AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Estimator in Henderson, Nevada to lead full-cycle capital cost estimates for surface mining projects across North America. The role requires applying advanced estimating techniques, developing unit rates, and interfacing with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years of mining cost-estimation experience, familiarity with MS Excel, and the ability to present estimates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in developing capital cost estimates for mining projects.
• Experience with Carbon Capture technologies and decarbonization projects is a plus.
• Proficiency with estimating software is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplinary estimating.
• Exposure to mining projects across various commodities.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle capital cost development for all estimate classes from Concept to Definitive per AACE International.
• Apply industry estimating methodologies to develop costs within project timelines.
• Prepare estimating plans and basis of estimate documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
