Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Senior Mineral Resource Geologist to join our US Mining team in Chandler, AZ. You will provide resource exploration and modeling solutions to support reserve estimation, mining engineering, hydrogeology, and financial analysis.
You will lead multi‑disciplinary projects and assist with business development for new and existing clients. The role requires broad exploration and mining operation experience, strong technical writing, and willingness to travel to remote locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum a B.S. in Geology; MS preferred.
- P.G. or QP preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in exploration/mining.
Responsibilities
- Build geologic models using MinePlan/Leapfrog/Vulcan or similar.
- Analyze data with Access, Excel, ArcGIS, MapInfo, Torque.
- Author QP/Competent Person reports after gaining experience.
- Manage resource exploration and evaluation programs.
- Develop work with new and existing clients.
