Job summary

Freeport‑McMoRan seeks a senior planning supervisor to oversee division planning, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient job execution. You will manage budgets, forecast needs, and coordinate with front‑line Supervisors to optimize maintenance activities across mine operations.

You will apply SAP maintenance modules, drive detailed monthly plans, and lead intradepartmental communications to achieve operational excellence in planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 8 years in mining/industrial ops, 5 in leadership.
• Associate degree plus 6 years field maintenance, 3 in leadership.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years supervisory/lead experience.
• Strong mentoring capabilities, leadership and organization skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Freeport‑McMoRan standards and SAP maintenance modules.
• Proficient in MS Office and parts inventory processes.
• Ability to communicate across levels and build positive relationships.
• Safety aware and capable of managing hazards.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise division Planners and planning staff.
• Set objectives, monitor quality, ensure safety compliance.
• Drive runtime forecasting and monthly plan development.
• Collaborate with mine stakeholders and conduct post‑job reviews.
• Oversee budget recommendations and material management.
• Provide field review of job prep, execution and follow‑up.
