Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Safford, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Planner to lead and optimize planning and scheduling for field maintenance in a 24/7 mining operation.

You will coordinate with supervisors, manage SAP data, and drive improvements in work order execution and resource planning. The role requires strong maintenance planning knowledge, field maintenance experience in mining or industrial operations, and proficiency with MS Office and maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• Understanding of concepts and workflow of Maintenance Planning/Scheduling.
• Understanding of mining and/or processing equipment function.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance management systems and associated applications.
• Demonstrated professional/effective written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead workload activities of the assigned department by planning, scheduling, measuring, and analyzing Maintenance activities in collaboration with site supervisors.
• Plan, schedule, and analyze execution to generate successful resolution of issues.
• Manage and maintain the integrity of the information management systems to achieve the assigned planning and scheduling objectives.
• Interact with the Supervisor to establish and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities; participate in planning meetings with key stakeholders.
