Job summary

_n_Logic seeks a Senior Sustainment Systems Engineer to support a MILSATCOM PMO within the US Space Force’s SSC at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. The candidate will sustain a diverse MILSATCOM portfolio, including legacy systems like Milstar, AEHF, EPS, and associated ground infrastructure, warfighter terminals, and software such as FAB‑T, Global‑ASNT, MMS, GBS, GMT, and more.

This engineering management role requires autonomy, collaboration in small teams, and the ability to impact the space

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with DoD clients and managing professional relationships.
• 4+ years in a competitive multi-contractor environment.
• 5+ years in architecture/requirements definition/analysis, acquisitions, engineering/design, fielding/integration, and verification or analysis.
• 4+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• 4+ years of systems integration experience.
• 4+ years engaging government customers to advance projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provides MILSATCOM systems engineering advisory assistance to the government customer.
• Supports sustainment tasks through space systems engineering processes and procedures.
• Performs technical analysis with rigor and appropriate engineering discipline application.
• Assists with technology readiness assessments and risk identification.
• Supports waiver, deviation and deficiency reviews and system allocations.
• Conducts system/enterprise level engineering analysis to identify sustainment issues and mitigations.
• Improves organizational processes through engineering analysis and recommendations.
• Performs studies of missions to assess integration, system-of-systems factors, and mission assurance.
