KBR is seeking an ESS Terminals Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure infrastructure and systems for national security applications, with emphasis on Protected SATCOM terminals and MILSATCOM integration.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in engineering, 5+ years in systems engineering, and active DoD clearance. On-site work in a secure facility is mandatory, with opportunities to lead projects and shape

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field is required.
• 12+ years’ engineering experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering, including requirements and technical baseline development, test planning and integration, verification, and validation.
• Experience developing or managing requirements or ICDs for complex systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• On-site work in a secure facility is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems for National Leadership Authority capabilities.
• Analyze system requirements and oversee development, delivery, and implementation of those requirements.
• Lead technical projects and contribute to best practices and documentation.
