Job summary

Martinrea is seeking a Millwright for a permanent, full-time position in Corydon, Indiana. The role involves maintaining preventative maintenance schedules, diagnosing equipment, and performing mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery, with emphasis on large tonnage presses.

The incumbent will ensure safe operations and accurate record-keeping, while supporting production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance experience (5+ years).
• Mechanical and Electrical procedures knowledge.
• Knowledge of machine rigging procedures.
• Knowledge of machining and welding.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, specifications and manuals.
• Good English communication (written and oral).
• Experience repairing large tonnage presses and performing preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Perform diagnostics on equipment and advise parts needed for repairs.
• Physically maintain machines and equipment.
• Ensure all paperwork/logs are completed before shift end.
• Follow machine safety guidelines and lock out/tag out procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards.
• Maintain company tools as required to fulfill duties.
• Support weekly production requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor downtime/uptime and meet department goals.
• Adhere to all company policies including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems.
