RoyOMartin is seeking a maintenance professional to plan and execute mechanical maintenance projects and provide support for plant equipment. The role requires safely installing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems, with overtime and occasional travel to other facilities.

Candidate should read blueprints, have a strong mechanical aptitude, and possess experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, along with excellent attendance and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and industrial mechanical experience; 3 years preferred.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends with occasional travel to other company facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Outstanding attendance record.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mechanical maintenance projects and provide maintenance support for plant equipment.
• Safely perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on all plant mechanical equipment.
• Support mill maintenance during downdays and outages and otherwise as needed.
• Ability to cut and weld for fabrication.
• Corrective and preventive maintenance problem resolution.
• Ability to perform sprocket alignments, change bearings, and measure layouts.
• Rig heavy machinery components safely and properly.
