Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Millwright 5 or better to join our Kalispell Complex. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and keeping high-tech manufacturing equipment running safely to maximize uptime.

Work with a team of millwrights and electricians, read blueprints, perform welding and burning as needed, and participate in capital projects. On-the-job training is provided; signing bonus offered.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of welding and burning; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems and read schematics.
• Collaborative with supervisors, electricians and millwrights; strong communication.
• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and JSA concepts.
• Basic computer skills including maintenance software and email.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing by maximizing plant uptime and provide safe facility-system support.
• Collaborate with millwrights and electricians for preventive and routine maintenance and capital projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints; fabricate equipment including welding and burning.
• Deliver preventative maintenance and perform complex repairs.
• Gain knowledge of Weyerhaeuser's fire protection system.
