Hamilton Building Supply’s DURATION Moulding & Millwork division seeks a Master Millwork Carpenter to turn CAD designs into high‑quality wood components in our custom shop. You will follow blueprints, plan machine time, mill parts, and label jobs for clear identification, while maintaining safety and organization on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes precise carpentry skills, adherence to SOPs, and ongoing improvements using 2 Second Lean and Six Sigma methods, with compensation commensurate

Qualifications

• Exceptional hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Comfort with basic math; adept at reading and using a tape measure.
• Clear communicator who reads and follows detailed instructions.
• Takes direction well and applies sound judgment on the floor.
• Organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Understands and follows safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review CAD drawings and blueprints; clarify scope with the team.
• Plan machine time to hit milestones and maximize efficiency.
• Mill parts and operate shop equipment; track materials used.
• Label finished jobs per SOP for clear staff identification.
• Move equipment and materials to staging and production areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace; use hearing protection and PPE.
