Job summary

Woodweb is seeking a CAD Engineer to support the production of custom millwork and cabinetry for Retail, Builder, and Commercial accounts. You will create production-ready drawings and CNC programs to drive efficient manufacturing of large-scale projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in custom millwork, strong CAD/CAM experience, and a good understanding of CNC concepts and G-code. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and timely output.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry or woodworking manufacturing.
• Hands-on CAD/CAM experience with at least one major platform (Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, 2020, Mozaik, SWOOD/SWOODDesign/SWOODCAM, BSolid, WoodWOP, or similar).
• Knowledge of CNC programming concepts and G-code for woodworking equipment.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work in a production-driven environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop drawings and production documentation ready for production approval and manufacturing.
• Support continuous improvement of design-to-production workflows.
• Ensure designs meet quality, constructability, and production standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver accurate, on-time output in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet defined productivity and quality metrics.
