Job summary

Ameriscan Designs is seeking skilled carpenters to craft and assemble high-quality millwork components such as cabinets and reception desks. You will read architectural prints, set up machinery, and finish surfaces to exacting standards in a first-shift role from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 3+ years of custom millwork experience, strong woodworking knowledge, and the ability to lift materials while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required with 3+ years of custom millwork experience preferred.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and shop drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and safe operation.
• Experience in cabinet and furniture construction and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble custom millwork components per blueprints and shop drawings.
• Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and accurately.
• Finish surfaces with veneers, stains, and finishes.
• Interpret shop drawings to measure and cut materials to specifications.
• Coordinate multiple projects to ensure timely completion and quality.
