Satterfield Construction Company is seeking an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our asphalt division and contribute to roadway projects in Greenwood, SC. You will operate milling equipment, adjust patterns, and work with the crew to meet schedules while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous milling machine experience.
• Understanding of asphalt paving and roadway construction operations.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Occasional overtime, night shifts and weekends as required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely and efficiently operate a milling machine on roadway and paving projects.
• Adjust cutting depth and milling patterns to meet project specifications.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Work closely with the foreman and crew members to maintain production goals and project schedules.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist with additional project and crew responsibilities as needed.
