Job summary

The State of Arizona, Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager at Papago Park Military Reservation, Phoenix, AZ. You will guide complex MILCON and SRM projects, mentor a team of project managers, and ensure compliance with NGB processes and procurement workflows.

This on-site role requires strong planning, budgeting, and leadership skills to meet strict deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of direct supervisory experience.
• Ability to mentor, train, organize, and supervise project managers.
• Experience with MILCON/SRM processes, NGB forms, and procurement workflows.
• Criminal background check and CAC access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, supervise, and train a team of project managers through all project phases.
• Lead MILCON/SRM project conception to close-out, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate NEPA compliance, environmental records, and planning actions.
• Review and ensure compliance with UFC, ADA, and codes across projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, vendor invoices, and APP requisitions.
