Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Project Manager - Construction to lead midstream facility and pipeline construction projects in the United States. You will work with contractors, internal teams, and operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and safely.

The role requires hands-on management of design, procurement, permits, and commissioning, with strong focus on safety and regulatory adherence across API, ASME, and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Power BI proficiency for reporting and analytics.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and midstream construction practices.
• Knowledge of safety practices including excavation, lifts, hot work and energy isolation procedures.
• Knowledge of welding, coating and NDE standards (API 1104, ASME IX).
• Ability to travel extensively to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through the full lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning.
• Coordinate contractors, materials and internal resources.
• Support operations, troubleshooting, pipeline reroutes and DOT compliance initiatives.
• Develop scope of work and isometric drawings for construction activities.
• Track costs and milestone schedules; communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement and delivery in collaboration with supply chain and engineering.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup efforts.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and retained per standards.
