Job summary

Targa Resources in Mont Belvieu, TX is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to lead and execute engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring designs meet safety, regulatory, and technical standards while delivering on time and within budget.

You will coordinate feasibility studies, FEL cost estimates, AFE generation, and detailed engineering, while supporting operations, PSM compliance, and project commissioning activities across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering from a 4-year accredited university.
• Ability and willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Manage feasibility studies, FEL estimates, AFE generation, detailed engineering and design; scope, bid, and manage construction and commissioning contractors; as-built drawings; FATs and PSSR participation.
• Develop scope of work/for-bid packages for engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Track/forecast costs and milestone schedules and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Possess working knowledge of hazardous liquid and gas pipeline systems.
• Ensure construction activities comply with project specs, standards, and regulations.
• Support right-of-way acquisition, permitting, land agreements, and environmental coordination.
• Provide technical support to operations, troubleshooting, PSM compliance, and DOT compliance.
• Possess knowledge of midstream process controls and instrumentation; interpret PFDs, P&IDs and related drawings.
