Targa Resources in Midland, TX, seeks a Project Manager - Engineering to lead complex engineering initiatives from conception to commissioning. You will coordinate feasibility studies, FEL estimates, AFE generation, and contractor management while ensuring designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, applying process safety practices and midstream knowledge to deliver on time and within budget.

Competenze

• BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Mansioni

• Manage feasibility studies, FEL cost estimates, AFE generation, detailed engineering and design; scope, bid, and manage construction and commissioning contractors; as-built drawings; FATs and PSSR reviews.
• Develop scope of work/for-bid packages for engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Track/forecast costs and milestone schedules and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
• Possess working knowledge of hazardous liquid and gas pipeline systems, including gathering, transmission, pump stations, compressor stations, pigging facilities, and mainline appurtenances.
• Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, company standards, and applicable regulations and codes.
• Support ROW acquisition, permitting, land agreements, and environmental coordination with Land/ROW, Regulatory, and Environmental teams.
• Provide technical support to operations, including troubleshooting, integrity-driven projects, maintenance activities, debottlenecking and optimization, PSM compliance, and DOT compliance.
• Possess knowledge of midstream processing operations including dehydration, amine treating, hydrocarbon recovery, and condensate stabilization.
• Size and specify mechanical equipment, piping materials, relief devices, and control valves.
• Interpret PFDs, P&IDs, Plot Plans, Piping Plans, and P&Is.
• Interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and installation details.
• Review assets to enhance safety, mechanical reliability, and capacity.
• Know codes and standards like API, ASME B31.3/4/8 and VIII, DOT 192/5, NFPA.
• Other duties as assigned.
