Formación

• 2.5+ years of progressive underwriting experience and/or related experience.
• Ability to evaluate and judge underwriting risks across the full underwriting process.
• Proven analytical ability with qualitative and quantitative tools.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite middle market commercial accounts within authority, assess submissions, terms, and pricing.
• Make independent, data-driven risk decisions aligned with profitability objectives.
• Coordinate referrals for higher risk or specialized accounts.
• Manage broker/agent and insured relationships; act as Liberty representative in the market.
• Develop broker strategies to source profitable middle market business and grow market share.
• Provide timely responses and negotiate coverage while protecting portfolio profitability.
• Underwrite higher-limit, complex submissions typical to middle market clients.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Risk Control, Legal to structure terms and risk mitigations.
• Mentor junior underwriters and new hires on middle market practices.
