Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced engineer with a strong electromagnetics background to lead antenna, radar, and RF design and development across ND, interagency, and other R&D initiatives.

The role includes performing EM analysis and testing, mentoring teams, delivering results on schedule, and interfacing with customers while abiding by DOE Q security requirements; on-site work and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
• Experience in RF/microwave design and antenna/RCS analysis.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, design, and develop radar systems, subsystems, and modules.
• Conduct basic and applied research in applied EM.
• Design and develop passive and active antenna structures.
• Analyze, design, and develop RF/microwave circuits, subsystems, and modules.
• Perform EM analysis, simulations, and testing.
• Mentor and lead teams of engineers and technologists.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
